Treaty Investor Visa

The United States throughout the years has signed mutual treaties of commerce and cooperation with countries around the world.  The Treaty eligible countries list can be viewed here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/fees/treaty.html

In exchange for a national of an eligible country’s investment and the creation of jobs for Americans, the investor can obtain a visa for him/her and their family to live and work in the USA.  The spouse can get an open work authorization and the children can attend school.  The E2 visa is a nonimmigrant visa, but in practice, as long as the business is operating and Americans are still being employed, it essentially is good for life. The investor being a nonimmigrant is only liable for taxes on their earned income from the business, not their worldwide income as any other legal permanent resident or US citizen.

Singh & Company are “experts” with Treaty Investor visas having filed a multitude of applications at Embassies and Consulates around the world.  We would be happy to arrange a consultation to discuss your eligibilities.
